At that time she was 19, was the crew chief and the following year he was Champion Crew Chief of the Year, as his father had also managed to get the Winston West championship to his collection ofhome.

It is also surprising thatGilliland favorite athlete is Tiger Woods and the two used to play golf in high school together. Will speak about how his perseverance, for Tiger Woods in golf, and channeled his passion to see the gold. Earnhardt has two victories in the early years, but was not racing a point. The point of races are those who remembercount during the season.

This race was his first visit to victory lane after 76 races. You can see the joy and relief on his face after the victory. Around him, including team owner Rick Hendrick and the long-time crew chief Tony Eury was ekstatiese. Earnhardt started the day in third position in Series points. He is not moving in the post after that victory, but he found the hole had reduced first and third with only 84 points. Although it was hisfirst victory this season, is very close to Richmond, his road race with eleven top-ten has a strong claim to be in the Chase for his first Sprint Cup Championship.

Meanwhile, the reins of the Nationwide Series, team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. feeling very proud of his driver Brad Keselowski. Keselowski drove to victory a week ago in Nashville and followed this week with a second place. Race this week, Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedwayeveryone talks about winning, young Joey Logano. But the nation's junior, looks Keselowski finishing fourth Sunday should think about the possibility of Earnhardt to implement a league championship as a car owner.

Keselowski moved to three positions to second place in series points. He is now only 170 points behind series leader Clint Bowyer. There are still 19 races remaining in 2008, but how great it would be two championships in a year to see Earnhardt.

TheThe winner of five consecutive Drivers More Awards wants nothing more than a sample of the series, and two in a year, which would be even better.

Dart Group 44 – the beginning of an American Road Racing Epic

In mid-1960 road racing in America has experienced steady growth, the distribution of Watkins Glen and Elkhart Lake in the late '40s, after all traces of the American landscape. Some songs Sebring track in Florida was nothing more than a converted Army Air Corps training for pilots of the United States during the Second World War. Other songs that California Riverside Raceway, is specially constructed to include the love found in the United States for a form of motorsport there intrinsically Europe.

American car companies have suffered less willing to embrace the love found. Half of 1950 was a tragic moment in the road race, especially in Europe's largest event held annually in June at Le Mans in France. These tragic events have brought the American auto industry to form a travel ban in 1957, officially meant that there can be factory-backed efforts automobile race in the United States. The producers knew> Race, especially road racing, it was necessary to develop new products and technologies to ensure that the companies were developing their line of trams. Many companies have worked "under the table" in an open-style "Black Ops" sort of way to get their products into the hands of pilots to get the knowledge to develop their products.

The only thing that could not take race ban is in place, the young United States. The early 1960s had apopulation of young American pop-culture and technological progress of their time and became fascinated. In 1964, Ford Motor Company has dismissed one of the biggest shots of the car industry has ever seen, to discover all the new Mustang. Mustang was small by American standards of the day, and can be powered by old and new small-block Ford V-8. Racers want to be quickly gravitated toward the new car, which had its indirect parts of a development program of benefits all readyGo for it, thanks to Carroll Shelby and his Ferrari-eating Cobras, who was the world road cycling circuit stalking since 1962. With the help of SCCA and the increasing number of tracks in North America to race, quickly Mustang experienced rapid success on the field. E 'was the other producers in the United States scrambling to find a cure for dominance in the Ford road races and SCCA were only too willing to act as an ideal environment for such shoot-outact.

For the 1966 season, the SCCA announced that a new series entitled penalize "Trans Am". This series includes a lounge-stock production-type machines that are easily accessible to the American public. The rules for the two classes of competition allowed in an event. The first class was that the production of cars for more than two liters of displacement, or O2L. The second class was for the production of cars with engine capacity of less than two liters per day, or u2l.While Europe was building to dominate the class u2l, American manufacturers and riders on the road as hard on their goals in the classroom O2L where you can not make big V-8s in their lines of compact coupe. While the Mustang has a top side of the number of teams and cars, as more than a handful of competition from many fans choose to go to a location other than Ford's pony car. One of the teams who have been separated from the street from Ford's overall performance for the program group was44 Racing.

Group 44 Racing by Bob Tullius, a young runner who began his career in the early 1960s, working in the Mid-Atlantic region and make their way into the road American Racing father scene. For the season 1966, organized Tullius and Group 44 partners Dick Gilmartin to perform a new Dodge Dart in the inaugural season of the Trans-Am. Bob has always had a reputation for high standards, many of which have demonstrated success in the group of 44 years;but still, its high standards make him a little 'hard to overcome, with from time to time. Dick Gilmartin had secured the patronage of the Group 44 Quaker State Motor Oil, a victim of the rules on the increase in Group 44 Quaker State Fund continues with the 44 Racing team is already, and the American Racing Dodge Dart White took to the field for the first After March 25, 1966 Sebring, Florida. Gilmartin With the team has left, the young Tony AdamowiczBob is asked to act as co-manager for four hours of Sebring Trans-Am event.

Tony Adamowicz was to gain fame as a torn-up event reminders, won the Sports Car Club of America North-east India, driving a Volvo PV-544 Bob came in recognition of the achievements of Tony governments heavy Swedish metal sled, and asked Tony for co-driving with him on the 1966 Sebring event. The result was spectacular, with Bob and Tony finish second overall behind a u2l Alfa Romeo led by future F1 World ChampionshipChampion Jochen Rindt. Group 44 Dart O2L won the class and prepare the ground for several dynasties in the next few years unfolded.

The little white Dart, with an engine blueprinted 273 cubic inches provides up to 350 horses, still amazed by both the team and fans throughout the 1966 Trans-Am season. Driving duo Tullio and Adamowicz continue to dominate the Trans-Am endurance races, finished first in 12 hours, Marlboro, sixth at the green valley, and the other onRiverside. These results, the group has 44 to give you a top 5 finish in the tournament for the 1966 season.

Things seemed to be off to a good start for 1967, with Bob Dart operates with a victory in the first game of the season in Daytona, Florida. Success for the white mother for the event than teams with heavy support from producer limited moves in the series. Bud Moore Racing has arrived on stage with the new Mercury Cougar XR7 and soon to be very famous managerPennsylvania appeared in 1967 with all new from Chevrolet Camaro. Debut these two teams was the beginning of a factory fire that claimed muscle car that would last until 1972, and, finally, Abel, a mark to make the most sober of cars entered, and won two titles to see.

Regarding the roles behind Group 44 Dart's amazing 1966 season, Bob Tullius continue with his group of 44 Racing project in almost two decades to win some of the North –America's most prestigious titles of some of the continents most famous circuits. Especially I would like Tullio be involved with British Leyland and provide excellent results for Marques as Triumph and Jaguar.

Tony Adamowicz would leave the group of 44 in 1967, belatedly, finally enter Marv Davidson in 1968 and won the crown in a Porsche 911th Tony u2l will then proceed to win the 1969 F5000 Championship Racing Milestone 's AAR Eagle Chevy. Then he opened the door for the managementBert Ferrari (North American Racing Team) in 1970, one of the most accomplished teams of resistance never get off the track. Tony looking at the professional level in sports car racing until the late 1980s. To this day, Tony is still in the race after meeting with his F5000 car 1969 Eagle by Doug Magnon and liquids Eagle / Chevy Class of 2009 F5000 Championship Racing Vintage 40 years later, the same car and driver combination has wonF5000 title in 1969. A2zracergear Tony also runs an online store for clothing vintage race.

Over the years the group has 44 Racing, and those involved with the team achieved some incredible things in cycling road. One thing is certain, without the great effort made by Bob Tullius, Tony Adamowicz, crew, and the Dodge Dart , resulting in the 1966 Trans-Am campaign, the landscape in road races in North America would surely not so brightas it is today.

The history of NEXTEL Cup Series started the Strictly Stock Series in 1949, the Grand National Series between 1950 and 1971, and Winston Cup Series between 1972 and 2003. Renewal of the NEXTEL Cup Series has made sure that motorists can score more points and even get 5 points every time you take the initiative in another game. Vehicles of this series have a step shorter (105 cm against 100 cm) and the spoiler is even greater. By the end of the 2007 season, Busch has announced that it will no longer sponsor the BuschSeries and now the other sponsors, such as Wal-Mart and Subway sandwiches are trying to win a seat as the main promoter of the event.
