X Games 2009

2009 marks the 15 years of X-Games, the world's most extreme sporting competition. Over the years numerous world records here, including Tony Hawk's 900-degree turn, the first time this ever performed in public participation in skateboarding, and Travis Pastrana double backflip in Motocross.

2009 promises to offer similar high, but only time will tell how many records will be broken in this game. 2009 X-Games takes place in Los Angeles by30 July to 2 August 2009, with most events in or near Staples Center. X-Fest music and entertainment festival will coincide with the X-Games, because it was a couple of years. As always, the games on television, ESP.

This year's events include competitions in skateboarding, acing rallybil, motocross, BMX and surfing, as athletes from around the world show their latest developments. This year two new events join the X-Games. They areSkateboard Big Air and Rail Jam Skateboard Park Legends. Skateboard Big Air Rail Jam is equivalent to the Big Air ramp from the competition, with another 20 meters long path towards the entrance. Expect to see big tricks on the track. Skateboard Park Legends is a combination of concrete skateboarding rink, where success will participate skateboarding icons, including Christian Hosoi and Steve Caballero.

Besides the two new races, two events have been named after the X-Games 15 BMX and skatingSuper Freestyle BMX Freestyle Park and will Skateboard Park to be renamed. Moto X Racing will be called Super X. In this case, we see James Stewart Racing, which is already known in this sport, as the winner of the 2009 Super Cup and other events at the top, competing in his first X Games.

More than 200 athletes planning to participate in the X-Games 15 athletes participating in the X-games should be invited to compete. Athletes invited to this year, as always, includes the topnames in their respective sports. For skateboarding, expect to see Bob Burnquist, four hours X Games Skateboard Vert gold medal. He is two-time defending gold medal winner in the Big Air competition, and is one of only three athletes competing this year in every X Games competition to date.

X Games, second athlete to appear on every X Games competition, since the first competition took place in 1995, Rune Glifberg, who will compete in Skateboard Park and Vertcompetitions. He is a nine medals at the X-Games, and will defend its gold medal in the Skateboard Park competition.

Ryan Sheckler is a two-time gold medalist in X Games Skateboard Street competition, and will defend its gold medal this year. Skateboarder Elissa Streamer will defend the gold metal in women's Skateboard Street competition, was a four-time Olympic gold in this competition.

Popular X-Games veteran Travis Pastrana will be back inRally Car Racing. He is the current defending Rally Car Racing gold medal, and it is good in the sport of motocross and rally car racing known for his exploits.
